ă…¤The Great Work :ă…¤ Founded on the belief that power is born from knowledge, the Garlean Empire sought perfection of both machine and man. Thus was born Unit 09, an experimental unit of the Ist Legion, charged with reshaping flesh and mind through conditioning, trials, and augmentation, all in pursuit of building the perfect soldier.

Former military
Prior to the collapse of the Empire, the Ith Legion had attempted to coordinate reclamation of the Capital with other surviving Legions. Those who respond to the calls in the current day may find Vox in the Legion's place.
